Alma Katsu has released a short story on her webpage that is part of her Taker Triology. Her books are so fresh and new that I was engrossed in the first two completely and await anxiously for the third book!

Could not put it down. Not all love stories have happy endings. Sometimes being the taker in a one sided love affair is as damaging to the psych as being the constant giver.
This wasn't as good as the first book, but there was a lot of character history in it. I have high hopes for the third book.
